Environment Friendly Weddings

For those "save the planet" brides and grooms, here are a
few tips for an environmently friendly wedding.


Wherever possible, reuse or use recycled products for your
wedding. These items include: Invitations, response cards,
confetti cards, gift wrapping,try to use any paper products
that are made of recyclable paper.

Design an organic menu in which your foods are locally and
organically grown.


As an alternative to cut flowers for centerpieces and other
decoration, use potted plants which can continue to be used and
enjoyed. Make sure to use organically grown flowers for your
bouquets.


Give environment friendly wedding favors to your guest.


If this is your second wedding, think about requesting
instead of wedding gifts, a check be given to a charity that supports
environmental concerns.


Give to others after the big event. Food left
over from the wedding could be given to a homeless shelter.

OK here we go, today's zeitgeist.
I'm sure you have all read about Erica Chevillar. The Palm Beach County teacher, who has been modeling for the USA National Bikini Team. Come on, people what is the real news here. Should all teachers wear there hair in a bun and wear ankle length dresses. She a teacher and a model. What, people who are teachers can't be models too? This is crazy! Students Parents are up in arms, because they feel the images are inappropriate. The students have seen more than that at the beach. People, have to have something to talk about, to make themselves think that they have high moral and ethical standards. Today its Erica Chevillar! What is lurking in their closet?
